OUR STORY, HIS GLORY | LOVE LETTER SERIES

Season 14 Episode 3

Psalms 115:1-18 TPT

Premise

⁃ Our lives should be lived in such a way that our love for God ensures that His name is glorified in every situation, circumstance, and or event.

Confession: May our lives write beautiful letters of love to the Lord continually. Scribing not only His unconditional love toward us but our unwavering devotion of love to Him.

Fundamental Truths

1. God does not share His glory with anyone or anything.

Isaiah 42:8 NLT

2. When in Christ both your body and your spirit belong to God therefore the expectation of God is that we glorify Him with all of who we are.

I Corinthians 6:19-20 NKJV

I Corinthians 10:31 NKJV

3. Bearing fruit as a lover of God is how God chooses to be glorified.

John 15:8 NKJV

Scriptural insight

1. Because of God’s passion and love for us, He has chosen to glorify Himself in and through our lives. The hard part is….Getting out of His way.

Psalms 115:1 TPT

2. Never assume because God hasn’t done what you WANT the way you want, that He will not come through with what you NEED, how you need it. The Lord desires to help, for He is pleased by what He does. Question is, are you?

Psalms 115:2-3 TPT

3. We become like what and who we trust in. Therefore choosing to deny self and the temptation to trust in vain objects, fantasies, and facades put us back in position to recognize our true Hero! The glory belongs to HIM, not IT!

Psalms 115:5-9 TPT

4. Getting LOW (Humility) determines the SCO (Score, final result) God knows where we are, who we are, where we’ve been and what we’ve done, yet His love for us is unfailing and He is interested in how we will choose to LOVE HIM by posturing ourselves in a continuous BOW that makes room for the blessings of the Lord.

Psalms 115:12-15 TPT

5. Yes He is in control, but He has given us the responsibility of taking what we have, be it our stories, resources, circumstances, and or positions to glorify Him.

Psalms 115:16-18 TPT
