HE'S DEALING WITH IT | THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW
“Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed—he healed them all. Large crowds followed him wherever he went—people from Galilee, the Ten Towns, Jerusalem, from all over Judea, and from east of the Jordan River.” Matthew 4:23-25 NLT
Premise
- No matter what IT is, Where IT comes from, or Who sent or did IT. IT has to go! Long story short, Jesus is delivering and healing you from anything standing in between you and freedom! Learn this lesson quickly, God deals with the root, not just fruit.
Scriptural insights
1. Even though bad news has surrounded you, today good news is announced to you! No illness or disease has permission to remain when Jesus shows up!
“Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.” Matthew 4:23 NLT
2. Bring IT! Jesus can handle IT. Whatever has oppressed you is running into the one that will oppress it. Your stuff is not to much for the one who holds authority over it!
“News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed—he healed them all.”
Matthew 4:24 NLT
3. After IT is dealt with it is your responsibility to follow Him. Don’t let crowds follow Him because they heard but you stand still when you KNOW.
“Large crowds followed him wherever he went—people from Galilee, the Ten Towns, Jerusalem, from all over Judea, and from east of the Jordan River.”
Matthew 4:25 NLT
